Chief Executive Officer
CurrentIEM is North America’s largest independent full-line manufacturer of electrical distribution equipment and has been growing at 50% YOY. To take the company to the next level, I entertained private equity firms and ultimately received several offers. We sold the business to Odyssey, due to their track record with engineered solutions, the appropriate leverage, and the aligned business vision. We are now doubling the manufacturing footprint and focused on 3 key initiatives to capture the strong demand:1. Hyperscalers: Amazon, Google, and Microsoft2. Onboarding and expanding relationships with CoLOS 3. Building out the product offering to expand wallet share with current customers, Maintaining our strong company culture is another top priority. When I first started at IEM, there were 45 employees and I used to know everyone’s name and know something about them. I valued the business feeling like a tribe. As we have scaled to 1300 employees, we are structuring the divisions to have that nimbleness and family feel with open lines of communication and a strong rapport amongst the senior team. I am very proud of our team. They are IEM. As we scale to be a $1B+ business in 2024, we are narrowing role scopes as we recruit experts to lead divisions.
