Working as an instructor for the Prophet Analyst/Operator Course, Mr. Carroll was responsible for training new soldiers on the capabilities and operation of the Prophet system. Successfully completed the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) and within 6 months of joining the Prophet team, Mr. Carroll had become a Senior Instructor and resident Subject Matter Expert. He was responsible for streamlining the Prophet Course's materials and lesson plans to increase the efficiency of the course and the ability of the students to comprehend and utilize the information on the system, as seen in course reviews and student test results. He revised the Classified LAN that the Course was using to increase efficiency and also implemented a new System Restoration Procedure that cut the time needed to re-image the classroom systems, which needed an entire week before implementation, down to taking only four hours after implementation. He was the lead on the integration of the Prophet FTX (Field Training Exercise) with the JIC-TC's (Joint Intelligence Community - Training Center) Extensive Culmination Exercise, encompassing multiple simulated units in various locations. He was also the lead in training students, as well as training the other instructors, in the utilization of the Trojan Lite (T-Lite) Satellite Communications Platform.

Selected to 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) for the entirety of military career. Mr. Carroll was entrusted with handling intelligence essential for special operations forces in foreign countries. Trained junior and senior SIGINT personnel on analytical techniques needed for the accomplishment and improvement of their mission. He collaborated on the evaluation and improvement of SIGINT databases and search engines and the implementation of those resources into a deployed environment, as well as the training and use of equipment and collection methods. Mr. Carroll served multiple deployments to combat areas, providing SIGINT collection and analytic support for an entire company sized element of Special Forces operators, to include custom tailored individual target sets for the individual teams within the company. He was tasked with helping to establish and maintain both classified and unclassified networks for his unit. Responsible for coordinating and collaborating with other military units and government agencies. Mr. Carroll has experience in coordinating operations on a multi-tier/multi-unit level. He aided in developing a fast approach to getting reliable intelligence out as soon as possible, which resulted in increased mission success. Trained, evaluated, and mentored analyst team members on how to be successful and improve at their jobs in a stressful, tactical environment. He was responsible with providing accurate and timely intelligence to Special Operations Forces (SOF) in order to complete direct action and surveillance missions.
