I enjoy challenges and getting to know people so that we can make a greater impact together. I am currently working in Entrepreneurship through Acquisition as a venture to source/acquire/operate a business in the Greater Nashville Area. I am interested in opportunities, relationship building and experiences with leaders and investors to learn more about the local industries and companies. My previous roles were in Business Development and M&A analysis as well as Regional Vice President of Operations. The majority of my leadership experience has been in high risk complex operations. I am a Special Forces Operator and have served for 20 years. Many people don't realize, but Special Forces is an interesting combination of operations, logistics, and project management ... in an extremely complex setting. I have had the honor of serving in the teams through 9 combat deployments and have worked up from a project coordinator to a Vice President of Operations. In this last role, I directly led a highly selected and trained team of 8 special forces operators. I ensured the proper management of more than a $3M budget, including more than 3500 high-risk training operations. I also led my team on overseas assignments in denied and dangerous areas. I earned my Masters in Business Administration from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business, a financial modeling and valuation analyst certification from Corporate Finance Institute, and received a Bachelors in Business Administration from American Military University. I enjoy spending time outdoors and have made over 1,200 skydives. I worked as a skydiving instructor part time for six years. I provided the experience of first flight to hundreds of people both out of a plane and indoors in a vertical wind tunnel. My roles as an Advanced Free Fall Instructor and Tandem Instructor as well as an Indoor Skydiving Instructor gave me great insight into customer relations, working for profit, and company dynamics.
