As part of the LLB honours administrative team I was responsible for a number of tasks that aided towards the successful delivery of the course. Among my tasks were the organisation of timetables and communicating exam and assignment grades to students through the online learning platform. I also liaised with staff and students on a number of matters including but not limited to organising the curriculum for 2018-19 and special arrangements for coursework.

In this role I undertook legal research to aid in the authorship of Civil Procedure & Practice 5th Edition by Charles Hennessy. I was also responsible for managing deadlines and prioritising workload for myself and fellow researchers.

Pharmacy led role that involved elements of retail sales and a focus on patient care. Aside from drug dispensing, role involved liaising with healthcare professionals in the community in order to meet the needs of patients. The role also involved an element of budgeting and meeting targets in order to meet the wider needs of the business.

In this role, my duties included composing course materials and distributing them to teaching staff and students. I was required to maintain the online virtual learning environment and observe deadlines for course specific projects and assessments. Furthermore, I communicated with students and staff to resolve queries and provide details of classes and the course in general. The role also involved assisting teaching staff with preparing the IT elements of teaching and providing general administrative support where required to the wider law school.

During my employment with Thompsons, I gained experience in several departments of the firm. As a part of the employment law team, I conducted research to assist in the progression of claims to the Employment Tribunal as well as drafting correspondence to clients, the tribunal and respondent solicitors. I gained experience in direct client contact through telephoning clients and attending client meetings. Furthermore, I undertook archiving projects in both the private client and industrial diseases teams. My duties included digitalizing medical records and storing them as well as the return of documents to clients and healthcare professionals. This improved my file management skills and legal record keeping.
