Elementary Librarian, Reading Interventionist
Creative Writer And Poet
Like most writers, I have been writing for what seems like most of my life. Of course, it started as assignments for classes, but I enjoyed it. Working with words was so easy, they just flowed from my imagination through my hand and out through the pen. The words on the page were my magic taking form. Over the years I continued to write, maybe not as much as I wanted, but I have continued to write in many forms. My poetry is a release of feelings and emotions. My poems allow me to get things off my chest in a creative way. But my stories give me a time out from my life. I enjoy reading so I can escape my reality for a bit and enjoy someone else’s reality, so why not write so others can escape too. I use my own life experiences, as well as experiences of those around me, add a twist to them and I am able to add depth to my stories that my readers can connect with. My imagination has always run wild and sometimes the stories come faster than I can get them on the paper.
