Mr. Minardi co-founded Clear Blue Engineering (CBE) in 1996 and served as CEO from its inception. CBE is a full service electrical/mechanical engineering firm and full service electrical contract manufacturer specializing in PCB and box-build assembly. Mr. Minardi co-founded Crystal Diagnostics (CDx), a design and manufacturer of the worlds only liquid crystal based pathogen detection system for food. Mr. Minardi held a number of key senior leadership positions since 2006, including President, COO, and CTO as well as serving on the BOD. During his tenure with CDx, he was instrumental in all aspects of the business.Mr. Minardi led in the design, testing, development, and commercialization of the Xpress and AutoXpress pathogen detection products. He oversaw the build-out of the manufacturing facilities, including its premier Ohio manufacturing facility at Kent State through matching funds from an awarded Ohio Development grant, as well as the research and development labs at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Additionally, he was involved in business strategy, corporate finance (including raising capital), and staffing, as well as the lead in design and production of the CDx marketing strategy and associated sales collateral.
