At Alten Canada, I had the opportunity to work on two web development projects. The first project involved the development of an application to synchronize employee timesheets between two systems: JIRA and ADP. The aim was to facilitate employees' work by requiring them to complete just one timesheet per week.The second project involved the development of a web interface for filling in and sending expense claims. With Alten Canada, I had the opportunity to carry out an assignment at CAE. CAE is a company that creates aircraft simulators and offers pilot training. I was involved in developing a new functionality within an existing application. The aim was to offer pilot trainers the possibility of creating mappings to associate certifications with training tasks that pilots had to validate. With IKIGAÏ, I had the opportunity to carry out an assignment at Hubone. At Hubone, I worked in an industrial context with a warehouse management and tracking application. The solution was split into two applications, one running on PDAs (personal digital assistants) and a website. The objective, during my 4-month assignment, was to rework the solution in order to improve the maintainability of both applications. During my work-study program at the Volvo group, and more specifically at Renault Trucks, I worked in the group's IT department as a developer on a software application for sales staff. The aim was to maintain and improve the application. The application had to enable salespeople to create sales proposals for their customers.
