As the head of the curriculum and learning design team at LeapFrog, I direct a team of 4 learning design specialists to develop learning toys, interactive reading platforms and educational games. To that end, my primary responsibilities include:• Maintaining a cohesive curriculum framework across our product portfolio, with 25+ new SKUs per year.• Identify product objectives and collaborate with product teams to execute anelectronic learning portfolio contributing to >$275 mil in revenue annuallyacross LeapFrog and parent company VTech US.• Represent the expert voice to support digital marketing, industry and retail campaigns inPR, brand marketing, content marketing and product collaterals.Notable Achievements• Launched the KidiSchool preschool learning line in 2018 as VTech’s first entry in China’s education segment. Selected relevant products for localization, redesigned product content, and presented keynote at launch event in Shenzhen, China. Expanded from 5 SKUs in year 1 to 7 SKUs by year 2.• Developed the 100 Words book series – a collection of toy books with touch interactivity for vocabulary development. Consistent retailer favorite since launch with a new SKU every year. The original SKU has sold over 2 million units in the US and localized to 18 different languages. TOTY Finalist 2018.

• Wrote the chapter charter and application to establish a local chapter.• Organized professional development and networking events in the firstyear, resulted in successfully registering 88 paid members.

• Created the early learning framework for children 0 to 8 years to support theproprietary adaptive learning analytics platform (ALP).• Accelerated the early learning business by engaging with partners tointegrate clients’ digital assets with Kidaptive’s proprietary ALP platform.• Coordinated with data science, psychometric and assessment specialists onlearning analysis and statistical calibrations.

As part of a MacArthur Foundation Digital Learning Initiative grant, authored curriculum and materials to teach media literacy based on Henry Jenkins' work (New Media Literacies) and conducted research on its efficacy. Collaborated with other researchers within the Comparative Media Studies department and the Gambit Gaming Lab at MIT. Prepared IRB protocol and research materials; trained graduate research assistants, designed and conducted a qualitative study on youth civic engagement online.

Designed a virtual world using ActiveWorlds platform to promote medical adherence education; translated hospital educational materials into online interactive modules for teens 11-18 years.
