Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
● Leads the quality process during the design, development, launch, and post-launch stages of the software development life cycle for multiple award winning ESPN products. Products include desktop web sites, mobile websites, mobile applications, mobile text campaigns, social media sites, video players, and consumer goods. ● Manages both internal and third-party resources to ensure all parties are working efficiently, communicating properly, and project road maps are adhered to. ● Works with advertising and marketing teams to help manage releases of new ad campaigns in new and existing mobile products.● Organizes and leads weekly team meetings for status updates, road map discussions, and issues that have arisen during the development cycle.● Trains and mentors new employees on business standards, project processes, department policies, and testing methods.● Verifies weekly software releases launch without issue. Acts as the lead to communicate all new features and fixes have been launched correctly in the live production environment.● Built and actively manages the department’s internal Confluence Wiki pages.● Develops and executed test cases, test scripts, and quality requirements for certification of products prior to launch. Entered bugs and verifies fixes based on test scripts. Made final decision whether or not a product is ready for release.● Tracks analytics for products in Omniture. Ran reports based on traffic patterns, browser usage, and device usage.● Collects and presents customer feedback and survey data for new and existing products. This feedback helped form new product requirements and assists customer care in identifying and resolving any issues that arise after launch.● Creates competitive analysis reports against other websites, mobile sites, and mobile applications to provide insight on where ESPN stands in the industry.
