About Clemon White

I am a first-generation college graduate from Austin College, who double majored in Political Science and History and double minored in English and Sociology. Through my coursework and extracurricular involvement, I developed a deep interest in law and how political processes impact and shape our everyday lives. Upon graduation, I plan to attend law school and become an attorney to advocate for and defend the rights of others. During my time at Austin College, I had the unique opportunity to do Mellon Social Justice Summer Research in the History Department on Civil Rights Hero Attorney William J. Durham, which culminated in a published work in Austin College's Undergraduate Academic Journal, "The Acumen," a campus-wide event featuring his living descendants, and an honors thesis. In addition to my interest in law, I am also profoundly interested in Marketing and social media management. Through my work experience in marketing and communications, I have gained tremendous writing and communication skills. I have enjoyed seeing how well-executed marketing strategies culminate in successful events and campaigns.
