Project Manager for CHP Cogeneration project

16.5 Megawatt CHP CogenMy role as the Constructor was to develop the Construction execution plan, manage constructibility during the engineering phase, manage the all RFQ development and award process for the Construction packages, direct all construction execution for all phases from underground piping, electrical, concrete, structural installation,mechanical, pipe tie ins,above ground electrical installations and all other construction activities. I also directed and managed all CMT aspects such as Safety,Quality,site Coordination,field engineering, interfaces with live operations and all local stakeholders. Accountable to manage all of the site contracts and budgets for for T&M and Lump Sum Contracts.

In the downturn of large Construction Projects, I have accepted a different type of role as Contracts Manager, this has allowed me to expand my level of knowledge to other disciplines and receive beneficial exposure to a multitude of other skills that will come very useful on future projects. Having said that my heart and passion lies with major Construction Projects and I seek to further pursue my career and any possible avenues as Construction Manager

MFT Plant Managed and directed various scopes including, Heavy Earthworks , the installation of a new 22km HV power line, 2 HV sub stations, 17km shallow buried pipe line, 4 on-water barges with 15km HDPE pipe line, 3 holding tanks, 6 pump houses and piping, underground piping and electrical, Final grade earth works, 2 pump boxes and structures, pilings and concrete , the work was executed in both live and greenfield environments .

Surge Bin Enclosure Managed site work execution during day and night shift, including construction coordinators, QA, Safety, site engineering and turnover. The scope included the installation of enclosures for 2 operational Surge Bins within live facilities of a mining environment.

Aurora Mine Relocation My role on this project was from the early engineering and design stages as a key constructability adviser and planner thru to the site management of Construction execution for the relocation of 2 live OPP trains, 3 slurry pipe lines, light vehicle and mining vehicle roads, pump houses, sub stations, power and fiber lines, MSE walls, demolition, heavy earth works, and pilings and foundations. Project value $900M

Aurora East Pillar Relocation As key Construction Specialist on this project, my role was to support the Construction Manager in the daily site management activities for the execution Heavy Earthworks, power line construction , structural ,mechanical , concrete and piling works , road building and outage planification and execution of the relocation and re commissioning of an existing OPP train .

Albion Sands Expansion My role on this project was as a Lead Heavy Lift Coordinator , i managed and coordinated over 20 Mobile Cranes , 10 Crawler Cranes 5 Tower Cranes , on and off site specialized transporters for heavy and wide loads , the cordination of road modifications and power line outages within an operating mine , my role also included the completion of Structural Steel installations after all the heavy lifts were completed . I had great exposure to all disciplines of construction including daily interaction with the plant and mining operations .

As Business Representative my accountabilities involved maintaining existing relationships with clients and members, business development and relationship building with existing and potential partners, develloping strategies to attract potential clients and employers as well as developing executing programs to recruit new potential pre apprenticeship candidates as well as recruiting exsisting trade professionals , assist in maintaining programs for the devellopement of the contractors and workers , participate in all executive board meetings and key decision making and support the Business manager with all daily activities of the Union Hall to support all ongoing projects.
