I work as assistant professor/ junior group leader at the Molecular Imaging and Therapy (MITH) group of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). My group's aims to unravel and tackle resistance mechanisms that hamper effective immunotherapy for (lung) cancer. Therefore we strive for relevant solid tumor models such as multicellular spheroids, orthotopic tumor models and patient-derived data and material (i.c.w. University Hospital Brussel). As manager of the intravital microscopy unit at MITH, I further explore cutting-edge in vivo imaging techniques for fundamental and translational, academic and industrial research projects.Please feel free to reach out if you are interested to collaborate!
