With an MBA in Marketing and 30+ years of marketing and business development experience, Clete excels at empowering individual business entities to achieve profitable revenue growth. With senior management roles in both product and services industries—he drives results to leverage the company brand, recruit and retain customers, increase sales and grow national market share. Before starting his own business development and consulting firm, Clete served as Vice President, Director of Marketing for Eagle Home Mortgage, the home financing division of Lennar, the largest home builder in the United States. Also in the mortgage space, Clete served as Vice President of Marketing for Loan Depot, the second largest non-bank lender in the U.S., where his 15 member team provided marketing services for 90 retail branches and 500 loan officers. Prior to Loan Depot, Clete was Vice President of Business Development for Capstone Associated Services, the premier Attorney-led captive management firm in the United States. Clete served as Director of Marketing with Home123 Mortgage, a New Century Financial company, where he oversaw branding activities, lead generation, research, business development, advertising, collateral production and creative services for the 150 branch network. Prior to that, he was Director of Marketing for RBC Mortgage, the Royal Bank of Canada’s U.S. mortgage subsidiary, where he was responsible for a host of revenue-driving, business-to-business marketing programs. Before joining the Royal Bank, Clete led the marketing communications function for the box division of a Fortune 500 paper packaging manufacturer. He brings a balanced portfolio of sales, marketing, and corporate communications experience from a variety of companies including Video Airchecks News Retrieval Services, Ram Golf Corporation, KMOS-TV, and Loyola University of Chicago.
