With my team, we have used SAP to enhance data management, financial analysis, and forecasting. This has enabled me to lead the team in timely month-end, and year end closures.Together with the Team, we lead the organisations financial strategy to achieve full cost control, compliance, reporting, audits, and proposals.Through a direct daily interaction with the SNV global Accounting Support, I am exposed to different cultures and global standards and approaches to problem solving, compliance, and financial policy formulation.My achievements include:1. Managing financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly financial close processes.2. Implementing cost-saving initiatives that reduced overhead expenses by 15% annually by increasing cost absorption in the project budgets. This has been enabled by ensuring costs incurred are both allowable, and/or allocable.3. Preparing and analysing financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.4. Led audits and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements, resulting in zero audit findings. Show less
