Reporting to the Terminal Manager, this role is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the fleet of delivery vehicles based in both Townsville and Cairns. The sites are major hazard facilities and therefore there is a very strong focus on working safely in accordance with the organisations WHS requirements as well as adhering to compliance under various standards and legislation. Duties include liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure works are carried out as per schedule and in accordance with requirements, monitoring the In Vehicle Management System (IVMS) and the scheduling and rostering of deliveries and drivers.

Contracted to Origin Energy providing four trucks and four drivers. Had responsibility for day-to-day running of Townsville LPG terminal. Duties included working to the delivery schedule, ensuring activities were carried out in a safe manner, delivering LPG gas cylinders, retesting of LPG cylinders, liaising with customers, staff supervision and management, completing pre-starts and end of shift operations and working in accordance with Origin Energy’s policies and procedures.
