It Senior Solutions Architect (Oracle Erp + Oracle Data Warehouse)
CurrentFor many years, our company's various subsidiaries relied on Excel spreadsheets to manage critical aspects of their operations, including purchases, production records, inventory control, order management, AP accruals, and financial reporting. Each subsidiary had its own customized versions of these spreadsheets, leading to fragmentation and inefficiencies in data management.Recognizing the need for a more robust and integrated solution, our IT team embarked on a transformative journey. Our mission was to replace these disparate spreadsheets with custom digital forms, harnessing the power of Oracle Forms and the Oracle database to centralize data storage. Our primary aim was to ensure that users could enjoy a seamless and familiar experience akin to their Excel spreadsheets while improving data accuracy and accessibility.In my capacity as a full-stack designer, I played a pivotal role in this project. I led the design phase, fully normalizing the Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD), and subsequently developed and coded all user interface (UI) forms. Leveraging my expertise in PL/SQL and Oracle Forms 10g, I crafted intuitive and user-friendly forms that catered to the unique requirements of each subsidiary.Furthermore, we integrated Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to facilitate Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, connecting our custom applications to the Oracle BI Apps (11g) data warehouse. For Business Intelligence and reporting needs, we utilized OBIEE (11g) to empower our organization with data-driven insights.This project marked a significant milestone in enhancing our operational efficiency and data management capabilities, ultimately contributing to our overall success.
