Influence and educate community members for UW Organ and Tissue Donation (UW OTD) with a goal to increase Wisconsin's donor registry by promoting organ, tissue and eye donation education and awareness. Develop and implement marketing plans, assist with media relations, coordinate educational organ donation outreach activities, manage the UW OTD volunteer program, review and create educational materials, and support fundraising efforts to support the Donor Education Fund. Community Outreach:* Provide driver education training, materials to driver education coordinators and feedback on classes and curriculum* Develop programs and initiatives to educate ethnic groups with the goal to increase donor registration* Provide transplant recipient class education* Provide mentoring for the Community Outreach Student Assistant regarding priorities and volunteer coordination efforts* Develop and maintain a network of volunteers through volunteer recruitment, training and onboarding and communication* Coordinate community events and logistics, recruiting volunteers for event coverage, communicating with event coordinators, and distributing promotional and educational materials* Build partnerships with various organizations and foundations to create fundraising opportunities to support the UW OTD's Donor Education Fund. * Ensure UW OTD compliance with AOPO and CMS standards for public education, public relations and multicultural outreach. Educational Support:* Develop educational content for brochures, websites and other promotional materials.* Ensure UW OTD's Volunteer training program is current* Coordinate UW OTD's course material development in UW Health’s Learning Management System, including technology upgrades or implementations* Ensure Driver’s Education materials are updated and distributed to instructors in the UW OTD service area* Provide curriculum development support to the UW OTD Hospital Development team
