He has made a commitment to sharing his expertise, and has held board positions with major regional and national organizations such as the American Institute of Graphic Arts, American Institute of Architects, Orchid & Onions public awareness program and Partners for Livable Places. Mr. Blik is the author/co-author of four books on historical trademarks published through Chronicle Books in San Francisco. In 2009, he was awarded "Fellowship" distinction by the national chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
