It all starts with identifying and establishing relatable characters, and the CREATION of a framework that allows an audience to fully engage with the subject and the story they are telling. It takes a strong CONNECTION with the subject matter that can only be found by truly immersing oneself in that world and gaining the trust of the subject. The final piece of the puzzle is COLLABORATION: putting together the right team for the job and working together to bring the story to life in vivid detail. The best stories are immediately memorable—as if you have always known them but couldn't quite put your finger on it before hearing the story told in this way. This is the 'stuff' dreams are made of, and my approach to the projects I take on is to bring the dream to life for each and every client. Whether it's reality TV, online education, films (or anything in-between), I have a passion for all facets of storytelling. With more than a 15 years of focused docu-reality television experience as well as a strong background in online education and filmmaking, my versatility as a producer/director and writer lends itself well to video productions both large and small. My focus is on smart problem solving, visual creativity and on-the-fly story development. Coming from an eclectic background in casting, sales and filmmaking, I have a proven ability to identify talent and create compelling, timeless content for television, film, and online applications. My specialized skills include multi-camera direction, remote production, script-writing, shoot planning and pre-production, crew hiring, video editing and all aspects of production and post-production management.
