Controversial results as the proper operation of the Engine Amplifier was critical in Navy Test Pilot School applications and the USAF having Configuration Control of the aircraft.

To ensure a standardized review process for software updates, authored a Standard Work Package. Documented the cooperative use of an outside agency to ensure Code Reviews at contractor’s location were conducted satisfactorily. Reviewed Software Design Document and Control Law Design Description to ensure changes were documented appropriately.Representative of Flight Test Team to ensue critical requirements were appropriately tested. Successful flight testing concluded in phased fleet integration. Controls Representative for CH-46/T58 Engine Component Improvement Program (CIP)Provided guidance for the acceptability of surplus material by ensuring correct configuration and airworthiness of the surplus material. Controls Representative for H-53/T64 Engine CIPThe CH-53E fleet underwent an upgrade from the -416A to the -419 engine variant. Ensured the interoperability between the more powerful engine variant and the airframe and rotor system. Due to a shortage of Main Fuel Control housings, it was necessary to reuse the 416A housings. Coordinated within the Integrate Product Team (IPT) to get approval for life limits, due to the increased operation pressure of the -419 variant, by the Life Management branch and disseminate the limits to the IPT.Controls Representative for H-60 & H-1/T700 CIPSupported the joint Army and Navy Common Enhanced Digital Engine Control Unit (EDECU) and Hydro-mechanical fuel control Unit (HMU) program; the Army lead program to create a Common EDECU and HMU for the H-60 and H-1 type aircraft. Participated in software design reviews and reviewed acceptance testing procedures to ensure Navy specific requirements were being met.

Performed various thermal analyses for the Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) project including tradeoff analysis of insulation thickness, temperature, and air speed. Identified qualified equipment, such as fans, valves, and instrumentation, to be used for the SOFIA project. Assisted in testing, data reduction, and test validation report writing for the E-6B program.
