Cliff Bloom is a Grand Rapids Attorney with 30 years of legal experience. Cliff is a shareholder in the firm of Bloom Slugget Morgan, PC. A significant portion of Cliff’s legal practice involves water/riparian law. He is general counsel for the Michigan Lake & Stream Associations, Inc. and the Michigan Riparian Magazine, as well as co-counsel for the Michigan Waterfront Alliance.Cliff also represents a wide variety of municipalities, including townships, cities and villages. He has lectured extensively regarding public sector issues, as well as writing numerous articles on municipal topics and authoring two books for the Michigan Township Associations (Township Cemetery Management and Municipal Civil Infractions – The Process). Cliff lives on a lake in Eastern Kent County together with his wife Sarah, and his two sons, Patrick and Matthew. He loves the outdoors and anything having to do with “Up North”. After graduating from West Catholic High School on the West side of Grand Rapids, Cliff attended Grand Rapids Community College (which was then called Grand Rapids Junior College). He later obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan and also graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1983. Needless to say, Cliff is a big Wolverine fan!
