Syncarpha Capital is a New York based private equity firm dedicated to developing, owning and operating commercial and utility scale photovoltaic (PV) solar energy systems throughout the United States and Canada. Co-founded by Cliff Chapman and Richard Turnure, the firm was launched to capitalize on the tremendous opportunities in the alternative energy sector and to create a vehicle for investing in assets with long duration, excellent credit quality and high risk adjusted returns.

Head of Investment Banking - responsible for deal sourcing, deal execution and ongoing relationship with our clients. Raise capital through PIPE's, Reverse Mergers/PIPE's, SPACS and structured private placements.

Most recently served as CEO of mindSHIFT Technologies. He joined the company at the request of its investors to turn around the business. During his tenure as CEO, Mr. Chapman saw revenue grow 230% and reduced cash burn from $400K per month to cash positive. He headed an initial raise of $3MM of equity and a subsequent raise $11MM of equity with a new lead investor. The company completed three acquisitions and is positioned to be the leading player in the Utility Computing space.

Served as the Vice President of Best Practices for AppNet. AppNet was a publicly traded (NASDAQ) firm that was subsequently acquired by CommerceOne in Sept. 2000. In this role he was responsible for the integration of the 12 companies acquired by AppNet.

Mr. Chapman co-founded NMP and acted as its Chief Operating Officer prior to its October 1998 sale to AppNet. NMP was dedicated to providing internet business consulting services to a wide range of clients. Mr. Chapman helped grow NMP from 5 staff to 200+ staff over the five-year period that saw revenues increase from $100K to over $30MM. During that period, Mr. Chapman’s numerous roles included new business development, strategic alliance development, technical direction of the organization, management and development of the outsourcing business and client steering. Mr. Chapman was instrumental in securing institutional venture funding, developing corporate strategy and culture and closing the merger with AppNet.
