I and my wife offer training and services in 1st Aid, CPR, EMS, Active Shooter Response, speech therapy, tutoring for pre-school and elementary-age scholars, essential oil therapy consultation, and general temporary childcare services.

I fill emergent or longer-term contract positions in hospitals, clinics, and EMS agencies.

I instruct courses in Critical Infrastructure Protection to emergency management personnel.

I earned EMT-Basic in 1986, EMT-Special Skills in 1988, and EMT-Paramedic in 1989. I certified as NREMT-P in 1991. I have worked Search and Rescue, both on land and as aerial observer. I have been a Senior Flight Paramedic, Team Leader for medical support to wildland forest fire fighters, and an instructor for various EMS-related courses. I have worked in rural/remote, urban, and military settings. I started a local medical response team for the US Government in South Texas and was asked to participate in forming a national medical response team. I currently volunteer as a Firefigher/Paramedic with Salado VFD.

I trained soldiers in using data software, then update or issue new hardware and software for the Defense Common Ground Systems-Army program (DCGS-A), specifically the Program of Record-Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence Automated Reporting and Collection System (CHARCS). I also developed/modified curriculum to reflect the most recent information available to personnel.I administratively supervised HUMINT personnel assigned to my employer.

I enlisted as a Hospital Corpsman, Second Class (E-5) in March 2001. I received a direct commission in August 2007.I was the Leading Petty Officer, then Acting Senior Enlisted Leader of my Reserve Unit. I was a shift LPO for the Branch Medical Clinic, then LPO for a Medical/Dental Clinic while deployed to Kuwait in 2004-05. I assisted in developing the course curriculum and in instructing tactical medical procedures to civilian law enforcement agencies when not deployed.I was on the Headquarters Staff of US Navy Central Command/US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain as a Division Officer in 2012-13. My unit was responsible for coordinating information flow around the Fleet Area of Operations, to assist Coalition Partners in their daily operations and to aid operational planners on NAVCENT staff. Collaterally, I managed a $12M budget for 34 contract linguists assigned to the NAVCENT AO.My last assignment was as an instructor for new Navy officer analysts in the Southeast Region.

I retired with 20 years of service. For 7 years, I piloted a small riverine craft, attempting to prevent livestock or other contraband from entering the US without proper inspection. I interviewed people I encounter along the banks, usually in the Spanish language, to determine if they are in possession of contraband or other illegal substances. I have worked in the federal courthouse, aiding the Assistant US Attorney in prosecuting these cases. My last assignment was as a Task Force Agent with the local DEA office.I also worked as a Paramedic while on duty, to respond to any medical/marine emergencies that might occur. I established the local emergency medical response team, and was an advisor for the Border Patrol's national Search and Rescue Team (BORSTAR). I established training requirements, budgeting, and shift assignments for agents whose collateral duties included EMT response.

I worked as runner/orderly/CPR instructor and member of the "crash team."
