I focussed on how digital technology could change our clients' businesses and developed our position on cryptocurrency, blockchain and digital marketing.UK Chief Digital Officer: My role was to develop our market positioning and lead our got to market for digital services. Through this work we have created a substantial digital business in the UK which underpins our global digital business in Capgemini.

As Head of Client Solutions for a multi-national Media Production business, I was responsible for defining and implementing the company’s digital services strategy. To achieve this aim, I relocated to the USA and became responsible for operations, development and consultancy staff spread between 7 locations across the UK, USA and Australia. The approach proved successful, with blue chip global corporations in a range of sectors coming on line, including media and advertising, manufacturing, consumer goods, retail and healthcare.I also established a creative digital business which provided multimedia and web site design to a wide range of clients. This business grew to 80 staff across offices in London, Chicago and San Francisco over 3 years, delivering high end design services to blue chip clients.

Technical Director of a printing and media production business, that carried out high-speed image and data processing at over 30 locations across Europe NA and Australia. I had responsibility for the European Technology and IS Function, as well as for the technical staff across the different operating divisions

At PW I was responsible leading teams which delivered a diverse range of business solution, strategy and implementation programmes and projects, including:•The development of the Financial Management Strategy for a multi-billion organization and the definition and selection of the applications to be implemented. •The development of the complete 5 year telecommunications infrastructure plan for the Malaysian government, spending 6 months in Kuala Lumpar

Whilst at Smith Associates I was responsible for projects in a wide range of leading edge technology areas, including LAN/WAN network design, image processing software development, development of mapping algorithms and a large scale, secure GIS systems implementation. I also managed a major international project, involving a number of different agencies from the UK and US. As a business Director I was responsible for managing two areas of business, with responsibility for sales and technical delivery of projects.
