Cliff has over 20 years of development industry experience and a thorough understanding of the design and master planning process in a wide variety of residential and mixed-use contexts. He has had the opportunity to play an integral role in in the design and planning of significant and award-winning projects both domestically and overseas including North America, the Middle East and New Zealand. Cliff’s has extensive experience working for both developers and government authorities to deliver considered design and planning solutions. Cliff has managed the design process on complex projects demonstrating his ability to develop creative and pragmatic solutions while understanding various stakeholder requirements. He has significant master planning experience including the design of boutique projects and large master planned communities. Cliff has guided the design of new community master plans that support significant populations in excess of 15,000 people requiring the careful planning of neighbourhoods, schools, activity centres, community facilities, open space and movement networks. Cliff’s expertise also includes the design of urban centre and mixed-use projects varying in scale from large town centres through to local neighbourhood hubs. His detailed consideration of built form and public realm issues enable the preparation of robust land use and movement frameworks supported by concept design for retail, commercial and mixed-use developments. Cliff has also contributed critical analysis and design expertise to a range of strategic planning projects striking a balance between creative thinking and commercial awareness.
