Create and lead the development and implementation of company-wide sports marketing strategy designed to support and strengthen Jordan Brands position and business growth in performance category. Develop and maintain key relationships. Support the development of new and innovative products and marketing ideas in partnership with Brand, Footwear, and Communications. Provides real-time information and athlete insights to the rest of the organizations to help create brand stories and create the best performance product on the market. Responsibilities:• Seek, sign and service sports assets as well as the direction of the portfolio of team member and team/club endorsements.• Serve as an all-around expert on Jordan Brand athletes and provide sports marketing guidance and direction company wide.• Develop strategy and a portfolio of assets.• Spearhead contractual negotiation process from start to finish in partnership with Business & Legal Affairs.• Develop and implement strategic vision and strategic plans for Sports Marketing.• Deliver out-of-the-box thinking that enhances Jordan Brand athlete experience.• Partner with Brand and Communications to champion opportunities that celebrate big performance moments and milestones and elevate Jordan Brand athletes.

• Executes on football sports marketing strategic plan to seek, sign, and serve athletes.• Identify and evaluate talent, who will become the next Nike athletes to represent the brand.• Manages a region of college and NFL teams, including negotiating contracts, providing superior service, and expertise on all Nike Football products to create brand visibility.• Negotiates, executes and secures major contracts, as well as manages the day to day responsibilities for Nike's top football athletes such as Odell Beckham Jr, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Antonio Brown, Khalil Mac, Ndamukong Suh, Larry Fitzgerald, and Richard Sherman to name a few.• Secures athletes to star in various media campaigns, some notable highlights include Colin Kaepernick - Dream Crazy, Victor Cruz - Equality, LaDainian Tomlinson - Leave Nothing, and Russell Wilson - Alpha Menace "Skates".• Collaborates with category brand marketing teams for seamless athlete integration including photo shoots, commercials, digital, social, retail and various hosted appearance events.• Managed eleven college football programs over the course of ten years, a sample of teams include University of Oregon, Oregon State University, University of Washington, University of Iowa, USC, and Stanford.• Recruited top collegiate athletes such as TJ Hockenson, Noah Fant, Brandon Cooks, Quinnen Williams, and Patrick Peterson to name a few.• Visits all college and NFL programs throughout the year and represents the category at trade shows, NFL and college equipment manager meetings, bowl games, Super Bowl, Pro Bowl and various other functions/events.• Successfully & thoughtfully manages Nike's relationships with the best football teams/players in the world.
