Responsibilities:• Receiving, processing and storing the umbilical cord blood and cord tissue (stem cells) following the standard operational protocol, that meets the recognized international and government's standard.• Running daily QC, regular monitoring/maintenance and calibration for every biomedical instrument.• Doing contamination, infectious disease testing and ABO blood grouping on every client's sample. • Doing analytical study on data and results generated by each machines/instruments to meet and provide the highest standard of quality. • Processing and storing peripheral blood stem cells of adults following the standard operational protocol. • Analyzing and compiling data on exception cases and help in study and development of new method or protocols. • Collecting and monitoring data on shipping temperature of all samples. • Documenting, checking, completing and releasing results of all client's samples we received.• Attended practical training in HUKM tissue engineering centre (Mesenchymal Stem Cells Isolation and Culture) and learned the basic routine of maintaining animal cell culture. • Supervise and lead the team members in one shift: to ensure all the daily tasks are completed and monitor the safety and security of lab before shift ended.
