Current• Manage and oversee legal affairs for Network alternative programming and digital content. • Negotiate and draft the following agreements on behalf of the Network:--Unscripted production services agreements for commissioned (“works made for hire”) and licensed programming (e.g., series, specials, award shows, pilots, and development projects); plus any related format licensing, indemnification, executive producer, director and other above the line personnel agreements. --Digital content agreements for production and online/social media distribution (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, FOX apps, etc.).--Influencer agreements for content creation and exhibition on influencers’ online channels and social media. --Scripted movie acquisitions and time buy licenses with studios, charitable non-profit organizations, and other distributors. --On-air and digital promotional content agreements for both scripted and unscripted series. • Provide production legal support for programming/content in connection with the above agreements: review intellectual property licenses, talent agreements, contestant releases, background checks; work with Labor to advise on guild/union related concerns.• Work with Privacy team to monitor third-party websites to ensure compliance with COPPA and other data collection/privacy laws, regulations and guidelines. • Draft and negotiate scripted script-packager agreements, project termination agreements, indemnification agreements and quitclaim agreements between the Network and various studios.• Lead attorney on ongoing project to modernize/streamline Legal Affairs contracts.
