Cliff’s focus is the strategic design, marketing implementation and service of Complex Property programs. As National Property Practice Leader, he is also responsible for the overall coordination of marketing activities and the management and expansion of property market relationships. Prior to joining Beecher Carlson, Cliff served as Executive Vice President and Practice Leader for Willis HRH’s North American Property Practice working with a broad range of clients in the real estate, retail, technology, light and heavy manufacturing, municipal, chemical, food processing, healthcare and higher education industries. Before that, he served as HRH’s National Practice Leader, a position he held since 2004. Under Cliff’s leadership, the practice experienced significant growth and maintained well above average client retention ratio while expanding operations both domestically and internationally.He is recognized as a thought leader for his insight and perspective on property risk management having received requests for presentations to various industry groups as well as being often quoted in industry publications. Cliff also serves on several insurance company advisory boards. Additionally, Cliff has been recognized as a "Power Broker" and Top 40 Under 40 by Risk and Insurance Magazine. Cliff is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business where he earned his BBA in Risk Management and Insurance. He has also obtained his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
