Hello and welcome!I'm a business programmer analyst with over 20 years experience in manufacturing and service management software. I enjoy how my work with Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Visualizations and Dashboards is able to provide clients the business insights they are looking for.A recent personal project of mine brought together many of my technical skills. I created a website, OutOfSchoolCareBC.com to bring awareness to parents looking for Before/After school care for their kids. I created the site using WordPress and Elementor. Within Elementor I used iFrames to point to Tableau Public, where my visualizations reside. As a Business Programmer Analyst with Essential Software Solutions, my role involves understanding our client’s emerging needs and how our industry leading software can meet those needs. It is my role to customize this software with programming changes and to continually meet client expectations for service and support. As one of the direct contacts for our clients, it is my role to “fix things”. I bring a solution to any concern they may have and provide training when needed. I make clients aware of any application features I think are being underutilized and create new features when needed. I call upon my problem solving skills to come up with creative solutions, especially in times of high stress and urgency.I also prepare quotes based on a client’s request and then proceed once receiving client approval. I provide programming services and work with Business Intelligence tools, SQL stored procedures, Crystal Reports and SSRS to present the data. I also maintain data dictionaries, perform database schema changes, and address user account requests and audits. I work regularly with Progress, Access, SQL, and Oracle databases.I have many other skills to offer and look forward to discussing what I could bring to your firm.Thank You for your interest!
