ALVA Consulting, LLC is a small consulting firm whose focus is to provide professional and management support to federal government leaders, and companies desiring to provide professional support services to the government. In addition to program/project management and technical support services, we advise and assist private sector/commercial vendors to introduce or increase their presence within the federal marketplace, focusing primarily on the IRS and GSA. We provide consultant, management and technical support services in both the acquisition and post-award phases of the federal procurement cycle. Our Principals’ have 50+ years of experience as Senior Federal Managers in the Internal Revenue Service and the General Services Administration.

Managed select technical projects, corporate IT policies, processes, tools and marketing artifacts, external commitments and, evaluated potential business opportunities. I maintained periodic high-level contact with corporate clients and business partners. Initiated efforts to institute and formalize a Business Development organization with the mission to identify and pursue potential business opportunities and teaming relationships.

Directed 20+ Senior IT Specialists and Subject Manager Experts assigned to provide programming, design, testing and other Enterprise Life Cycle support to IRS’ Legacy and Modernized IT systems. This position served as a ‘career transition’ from a 31+ year career in IRS’ IT organization to leadership positions commercial IT sector.
