Education Coordinator, Bni - Business Excellence Starts Today
CurrentBusiness Network International (BNI) is "the world's largest referral organization" that has no political, religious, philanthropic or social agenda. BNI has a very unique purpose: BNI is all about passing qualified referrals (not leads) and the closed business that results from those referrals. As Education Coordinator of BNI - BEST, my role is to take 3-5 minutes each week to present information that will not only provide education, but also helps our chapter members develop their networking skills. The Education Coordinator's weekly call to action maximizes the business that’s passed in any given BNI Chapter. "The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires!" - William Arthur Ward
President, Bni - South County Business Group
• Initiated a "restart" for the BNI - South County Business Group — with the intent of not only making this particular group profitable, but transforming it into a “showcase” chapter in St. Louis County.• Under my leadership, the members of the chapter converted approximately 375 referrals totaling $3,120,132 in closed business for the group’s chapter members in 2013.
10-Star Key Director, Co-Owner And Independent Distributor
Current• Grew the volume of our Reliv distributorship by roughly 60% between 2011 and 2014, and the number of qualified referrals that we receive annually tripled. ( Much of that growth was due to our involvement in BNI. )• 10-Star Director with Reliv International since March 2010. • Dr. Theodore Kalogris ( "Dr. Ted" ) Plaque Award Recipient in June 2007, July 2008, April 2011, and December 2012. Reliv Distributors attaining 16,000 PGPV in a calendar month are rewarded with the Dr. Ted Plaque. Reliv established the Kalogris Foundation in 1995 as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization in honor of the late Dr. Theodore Kalogris who patented the nutritional formula that would become Reliv Classic® in 1988. • Key Director with Reliv International since January 2007. Reliv Distributors advancing to the level of Key Director share an international bonus pool of up to $15,000 US based on worldwide sales.

Directed streamlining and efficiency of the Site Transitions Project, which returned over $1 million to the business.
Global Infrastructure Project Manager

A reduction from 1,577 to 35 open orders representing $134,522 to $1,590 in unbilled revenue.• Redesigned and updated the Monsanto Telecommunications Technical Paper, now used as a standard for Voice and Data wiring within the Monsanto Company, and includes standards for the structured wiring of CAT5E and fiber optic cabling.• Drove Monsanto’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts to ensure that the company’s process control documentation withstood the scrutiny of both internal and external audits.
Enterprise Infrastructure Project Coordinator
• Spearheaded oversight responsibilities for several network projects spanning multiple teams such as the St. Louis LAN Closet Equipment Upgrade as well as the DMZ Network Upgrade. Focused on network security for one of the most visible IT projects that year without interrupting operations.• Drafted a comprehensive Project Plan for the St. Louis LAN Closet Equipment Upgrade, which was a $2.2 million plus project. The focus was upon replacing outdated Cabletron switchgear with new Cisco equipment for leveraging emerging technologies such as VoIP, Wireless LAN, and Streaming Multicast. Provided the business justification for this large-scale upgrade to the network environment, which was completed approximately one month ahead of schedule.• Documented the IMAC Process for the Voice Team and worked with the IMAC Analysts to flowchart a wide variety of process flows, which facilitated successfully building a new relational model using Pinnacle.

Trained users of Monsanto’s remote access tool, educating them about the cost savings to be realized by little more than changes in their dialing habits. Over the next six months, connect minutes were reduced by 40% resulting in a monthly cost savings of $71,000!• Aggressively migrated scores of users from coaxial cable to unshielded twisted pair cabling, thus saving Monsanto over $100,000 that would have been associated with massive IMACs, i.e., installs, moves, adds and changes to the desktop environment at the Creve Coeur campus.
It Professional
• Utilized a sophisticated CAD (Computer Aided Design) package known as Aperture™ Visual Information Manager to “map” all of the company’s North American data centers so that Monsanto’s declaration to the Securities and Exchange Commission would be as accurate as possible. Monsanto’s primary data center at the world headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri was home to more than 500 servers.• Managed a Client Satisfaction Measurement project between the Monsanto Company, IBM Global Services and Maritz Marketing Research. The data collected enabled Monsanto to successfully negotiate an ending to the 10-year Outsourcing agreement with IBM without having to pay a $4 million pre-termination penalty!
