In less than 24 months, succeeded in forming a highly effective BI development team while delivering the technical framework that provided a single point of entry to the most critical business data used by all decision makers. Elevated the overall BI maturity in the enterprise and automated collection, storage and surfacing of critical business data from key sources such as finance (SAP), planning (SAP BPC), billing, time reporting (Clarity), ticketing (Remedy), CRM (SalesForce.com) and many others. Moving from disparate data storage points, manual data management gave way to a single view of the truth which was delivered to users through self-service reporting, web-based management reports, electronic dashboards and MS Excel clients. Technologies leveraged: Oracle BIEE, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft SSRS, Microsoft SSAS, Microsoft PowerPivot for Excel, Microsoft Performance Point and Microsoft SharePoint 2010.While directing the finance information systems team, led a highly successful project that delivered a re-engineered financial planning and analysis solution. By removing the manual intervention required to manage hundreds of MS Excel planning spreadsheets. This enabled the users to spend more time on analysis and modeling than on data management. Hundreds of hours were saved by delivering data automation reducing the manual intervention required to process cost allocations, margin reporting, headcount planning, revenue trending and cost planning. The project was completed within budget.

    While directing the business support systems development and support teams, delivered several solutions that transformed the enterprise application landscape. Effectively managed the development, support and operations teams that delivered recognized innovations to the systems used for billing, product ordering, project tracking, time reporting and ticketing. Key Projects:Directed and served as the technical leader on the re-engineering project that transformed the company's billing process and technology. The 12 month effort included a "ground-up" development project to build a new best-in-class rating and invoicing solution by leveraging Oracle database and Microsoft .NET technologies. The resulting solution provided several new capabilities such as on-line invoicing, decreased run-time, rating plan management and ERP integration. Third-party tax system integration was also delivered, reducing the need for post-rate manual intervention. After a successful implementation, billing credits declined 67% in the first year of operation. Positive customer feedback rose 25 percentage points for billing accuracy and 15 percentage points for ease of invoicing. The project was completed on-time and under budget.Managed and developed key business support solutions including a product order tracking system, project tracking system and an HR performance appraisal system. The successful delivery of each solution was accomplished by forming a strong partnership with the business owners and forging a custom developed web-based system that streamlined various business processes. The result of these efforts yielded a robust set of business process automation solutions which enabled users to collaborate more effectively across functional areas in the enterprise. The technology leveraged was SQL Server and ASP.net.
