Hastings is a miner of rare earth minerals, currently concentrating its efforts of developing the Yangibana project located 270km northeast of Carnarvon.Responsible for developing the HR/IR framework for Hastings including policies and procedures, employee pre-employment and onboarding, remuneration benchmarking and employment agreements. Working with the Project Director on HR Strategy in regards to project labour availability, costs and utilisation. Build the project team from post DFS to commencement of construction. Recruited a range of roles including Package Engineers, Metallurgists, Contract Engineers, Registered Managers, WHS, Environmental, Procurement, Project Controls and office support.Managing the WHS function including Contractor Management, Emergency Response and preparation of Project Management Plans (PMP).
