Two very special businessmen, one in my business career and another at Northwood University, served as my mentors. Carl A. Gerstacker was responsible for my attending Northwood University to better myself. Mr. Gerstacker served as Chairman of the Board at Dow Chemical from 1960 to 1976 and remained a close friend in business for many years thereafter. Mr. Gerstacker was credited with expanding Dow Chemical to become a global company. Dr Dale Haywood took me under his wing to pursue his passion for Finance and Economics. Dr Haywood was VP Chase Manhattan Bank.
