I've gotten to do a lot of neat things over the course of my career in creative direction, user experience, product design and content. At heart, I’m a digital strategist who happens to apply that mentality to creative and UX applications.I’ve worked with brands like American Airlines, Samsung, AT&T, Under Armour, Brooks, BlackBerry, Amway, JCPenney, and many more. Created marketing and e-commerce experiences on enormous scales that moved these brands forward. We won quite a few awards, earned national press and I’m extremely proud to have worked alongside so many amazing people.During the 00's I lost both my parents to preventable illnesses, so I found myself more interested in companies that help people make better choices and lead better lives.I left agency life to lead product design and marketing creative at activity tracking app pioneer MapMyFitness. Founded a team, overhauled the product and helped grow the user base from 10M to 25M registered users in 1 year.I also got to lead Product at MapMyFitness and be part of the executive team that pitched and sold the business to Under Armour. This led to a year of developing transformational digital products for UA, and being part of the leadership team that turned a scrappy startup into a full-fledged Under Armour business unit.I joined another later-stage software company in Limeade that needed a push in product design and marketing creative. Here I transformed multiple teams, created more effective approaches to move the product and brand forward. I’m proud that a product vision pitch of mine became an entire year’s official development roadmap. Heroic efforts from every area of the company led to Limeade going public on the Australian Stock Exchange.Having helped a second company with a successful exit, I wanted to take on a different area of the business that needed attention: the strategy for growing internationally. As VP of Global Expansion, I stretched into a pure digital strategy role and developed a multi-year plan for Limeade's international success.I’ve always said I have a dream job (ask my friends)… turns out I’ve had a lot of dream jobs doing different things for different kinds of companies. Which means I’m a very lucky guy.
