I am KPMG’s U.S. Leader of Enterprise Innovation where my team and I identify, develop and incubate the next generation of businesses, technologies and solutions for KPMG and its clients. My team includes KPMG Studio, an internal incubator and accelerator and KPMG Ventures which helps facilitate our startup ecosystem and minority venture investments. We also establish partnerships with universities and innovative technology firms Prior to my current role, I led the Strategic Growth Investments for KPMG’s artificial intelligence and digital innovation program, which include development programs in cloud, blockchain, AI and automation. In this role, I helped develop and execute KPMG’s strategy in artificial intelligence and automation, as well as KPMG’s market facing business in Robotic Process Automation. Since then, KPMG has been recognized by analysts and clients as a leader in AI and intelligent automation with a large number of market leading client applications. I joined KPMG in 2008 and helped establish KPMG’s U.S. management consulting business and outsourcing advisory practice. In 2011, I led the acquisition and integration of my former firm, EquaTerra, which subsequently established KPMG as one of the world’s largest shared services and outsourcing advisory firms. As a management consultant for more than 20 years, I have led or supported over 100 clients across technology strategy, transformation, global outsourcing transactions and operational improvements.I also serve on the board of trustees for The John Cooper School in The Woodlands, Texas. I’m a former entrepreneur and have been recognized as an authority in global sourcing, emerging technology and enterprise transformation with 30 years of experience in industry and consulting.Prior to joining KPMG, I was managing director of EquaTerra in the US where I specialized in large scale global IT outsourcing transactions. Prior to EquaTerra, I was a managing director of an internet technology and consulting firm in Silicon Valley.Earlier in my career I was an entrepreneur, paramedic and general manager for a US ambulance and healthcare provider.
