Cliff Lawson has over thirty years of technical development and management experience. In his more than eight years of public sector work, he has supported the states of Louisiana and Mississippi as a technical manager and advisory consultant, with successful implementations of SAP ERP systems and ongoing, post go-live support. Throughout his career he has held increasing levels of responsibility, from developer/analyst through technical manager, and advisory and IV&V consultant. He previously worked in the private sector where he actively participated in several major, full-cycle project implementations, including an SAP ERP system.Cliff has provided the full range of technical and advisory support for SAP ERP implementations in the state of Mississippi and the state of Louisiana. He is currently providing post go-live and system upgrade support for the state of Mississippi SAP ERP system, resolving ongoing issues and overseeing a team of developers. He is also providing advisory support as the state considers the start-up of Phase 2 (Payroll/HCM) During the ERP implementation in Mississippi, Cliff provided independent verification and validation of SAP development-related deliverables, provided strategic and tactical advisory services to the state’s technical management team on all phases of the implementation, and hired and managed ABAP contractors in the ECC, SRM, CRM, Workflow and PI areas. He has also played lead roles in the implementation of the SAP Learning Solutions module and a major Enhancement Pack upgrade of the entire SAP system.
