Austin, Tx, Us
Built and led the Product Management and Engineering organizations as part of the core executive team that grew the company 5x (34% CAGR) to a successful exit without additional funding. The Innotas product ranked #1 in the Gartner magic quadrant for 5 consecutive years under my leadership. Innotas is a multi-tenant SaaS solution in the project and application portfolio management space (PPM/APM) offering full analytics and integration with customer's CRM, ticketing, and other enterprise applications.Assembled a loyal, high functioning team that capitalized on talent in six countries. Envisioned and delivered the patent pending Predictive Portfolio Analytics add-on feature that captured significant recurring revenue and excellent ROI for customers. Successfully ported Innotas from collocation hosting centers to Amazon AWS to improve performance, reduce devops expenses, and enable rapid worldwide expansion options. Grew team from 8 to 46 and significantly improved product capabilities, usability, quality and robustness. Dramatically improved time to market by increasing release cadence (agile) from biannual to monthly while dramatically improving uptime/SLA.Partnered extensively with the Services organization on complex customer implementations & escalations, and building a successful community platform.Planview acquired Innotas and I integrated my organization into the Planview family with zero attrition. Within 3 months my team localized Innotas to German, French and Spanish to leverage the Planview international sales team and deeply integrated Innotas with Projectplace (collaboration product) to enable cross-selling.Technologies: Java, JavaScript, Sencha ExtJS & Touch, iPhone, Android, D3, FushionCharts, Oracle, Amazon AWS EC2 SES SQS and S3, Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, Tomcat, Apache, RESTful api, SOAP, Boomi, virtualization, SAML, antlr, Jenkins, GitHub, ansible, gradle, ant, ivy, maven, sonar, jacoco, cobertura, cucumber, Selenium, junit, jsunit, jmeter
