As the Executive Director, I am responsible for all aspects of running this 501(c)(3) para-church organization. My duties include presenting the ministry at various churches and Missions Conferences, providing policy and training guidance for current and future Centers, interviewing potential missionaries for national positions within the organization, and maintaining oversight on Centers' budget submission and execution. Additionally, I must identify the spiritual needs of Servicemen and women around military bases (especially training bases) that are not being met by local churches or the Chaplaincy and plant Centers in those areas to meet that identified need. Close coordination with the local churches is necessary in order to garner financial support as well as volunteers. By far, the most important aspect of this position is to minister to military members and share the Gospel of Jesus with them, that they may find salvation by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.

As the Director of the San Antonio Christian Service Center, I was responsible for the day to day operations of the Center which includes the functions of facility management, maintenance, security, and the planning and execution of the budget. I was also responsible to solicit, interview, approve and manage volunteers and other helpers to maintain the administrative and operational aspects of the Center. Additionally, this position serves on the Christian Service Centers, Inc. Board of Directors that make national decisions for the operation of the 501(c)(3) corporation. Routinely, this position aids the Executive Director of the corporation by attending conferences, networking with supporting or potentially supporting church organizations, and other duties as required.

In addition to duties as the Director of the San Antonio Christian Service Center, which are primarily administrative, my wife and I also continue to volunteer our support at the Christian Service Center (which is a Christian outreach to Military personnel in the San Antonio area). We welcome service men and women into the center to share where they are from and we share with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We endeavor to win the unsaved to Christ, disciple new believers, edify fellow believers, strengthen the local churches and uphold our Military personnel at home and abroad in prayer. We are humbled by our calling to the Center which has been "Holding Forth the Word of Life to Military Men and Women Since 1941".

This part time position is based on my expertise and past experience with Navy Security Forces manpower modeling for Commander, Navy Installations Command. I support the current APM for Manpower in revising, updating, and maintaining the manpower model. Responsibilities include site visits and post validations at Navy installations where required and reviewing current validations based on policy and mission requirements.

I was responsible for the programmatic execution of Physical Security measures and policies for all FEMA facilities from the more permanent, fixed facilities (HQ, Regions, etc...) to temporary facilities that directly support active disasters throughout the country. Responsibilities include the physical access of employees and visitors, operation and maintenance of access control systems, installation and maintenance of intrusion detection and surveillance systems, compliance to construction standards for restricted spaces, and conducting risk/vulnerability assessments.

I was the Assistant Program Manager for Manpower, Resourcing and Policy for the Navy Ashore Force Protection Program. This included validating security posts at all Navy installations, determining the resourcing needed to fully meet all operational requirements, and also providing information to operational plans that account for resourcing shortfalls and minimizing the risk at these installations by funding prioritized security functions. This position also reviewed, revised, and developed policy guidance with respect to these areas of the Navy Secuirty Force / Force Protection Program.

I deal mainly with Protection policies for the Navy and Department of Defense.
