    I remember that as the founder of OASIS. Growing up in the Cape Flats, I witnessed many social problems around me. However, I was fortunate enough to avoid the life of crime and gangsterism that many of my peers were drawn into. Since my teenage years, I have been involved in volunteer work with homeless people. For over 20 years, I worked for various NGOs before I started OASIS, which combines my passion for sports and community development. I have been a passionate football player and fan all my life, and I firmly believe that playing as part of a team, fair play, and sports can help individuals overcome both personal and societal obstacles.
