👨🏽‍💼Hi, my name is Clifford D. Jacobs (he/him/his). I also have a Native name given to me by my chief and Clanmother from the Tuscarora Nation which is "Rakęhkwahrihč" meaning "he strikes fire." But you can simply call me Cliff. 📖 I have a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University (2014) and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University (2016). In May 2021, I received a post-masters Certificate in Advanced Assessment and Diagnosis from New York University (NYU) Silver School of Social Work.🏡 Born and raised on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation (near Buffalo, NY❄️), with a passion for education, recruiting, DEI topics, and training & development. 📋 I have an extensive work history in the higher education, tech, and non-profit fields implementing full-cycle recruitment, program management, diversity/equity/inclusion training, professional development sessions, global mobility, and staff supervision. In these roles, I have gained further insight into how organizations, offices, and leaders apply strategies for future success while offering my expertise and advice for continual growth. I currently serve as a Talent Acquisition Manager. 🥾 In my free time you can catch me playing volleyball in a recreational league, finding every excuse to be outside hiking or camping, and binge-watching (or re-watching) TV shows and movies.
