Managing Client engagements in the tax department; this includes giving tax and business regulatory advice on tax obligations and tax structuring for new companies. The job also includes managing client’s cash, payroll and in some cases, managing their employees. I have even been engaged in recruiting personnel for clients including conducting trainings for their employees on updates on tax laws and other relevant compliance issues. My task also includes conducting executive recruitment and compensation benefit surveys for clients who request the service, or in other instances, do market research on various industries for clients that would like to venture into new markets. I also address Global mobility matters for clients whose employees are seconded to Sierra Leone to work. Under this aspect, I organize entry and exit tax briefings to acquaint them with their respective obligations and ensure that they have the requisite permits and visas to enter and work in Sierra Leone. Internally, I manage employees and allocate jobs/assignments to them and supervise and manage their performance on the jobs. As a manager and a senior employee, I participate in Management meetings and liaise with other seniors in the firm to see how we can strategise and manage and improve the firm.

My responsibilities include giving tax and business regulatory advice to clients and prospective clients, including assistance with tax and regulatory compliance services; HR consulting, Employment contract structuring, Executive Recruiting and assistance with business registration and set up. My job also includes managing clients and their affairs; planning and executing events both for clients and for the firm. It also involves managing clients' workforce, their payroll, and assignees' mobility, which also includes securing permits and visas on their behalf.
