If you were to look up the expression "people person" in the dictionary it will describe me best. I enjoy communicating with people focusing on listening to understand. When am not working I spend most of my time reading, gardening, exercising, hiking or playing golf. It is during those times that I have the most creative and innovative ideas or simply reflect on discussions I've had with people.I have 10+ years of project management and process improvement experience utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma, Practical Process Improvement, Toyota Kata, and the Virginia Mason Production System. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals and teams in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing and the healthcare industry utilizing the skills and knowledge gained from my six-sigma black belt and Master’s degree in Project Management.What I cherish the most about my job is the human interaction whiles building relationships. Respect for people and simplifying lean tools is central to everything I do whiles coaching, teaching and engaging teams to help frame their problems. I encourage and challenge teams to be as creative or innovative as they can, whiles escaping their mental valleys. And also guide leaders to have more efficient genda walks. I believe these have been key to the significant improvements teams I've partnered with have made and sustained.
