At GAO, I was part of a team reporting to the US Senate Finance Committee on international corporate income tax policies and administration. While I participated in interviews of high level government officials at Internal Revenue Service, Dept. of Treasury, and Joint Committee on Taxation among others, my main responsibility was to lead our team in research of Canada’s corporate income tax system. Our report , INTERNATIONAL TAXATION - Study Countries That Exempt Foreign-Source Income Face Compliance Risks and Burdens Similar to Those in the United States, was published in September 2009.http://www.gao.gov/assets/300/296939.pdf
