My role in these efforts was to manage all activities of the Academy related to training and publishing. Between 2005 and 2007 I was contracted by a growing manufacturer of baked goods to assist with their expansion strategy. I consulted widely on HR processes such as Industrial Relations, Training and development and also HR Administration. Based on my recommendations the client showed significant expansion both geographically and financially. I also implemented and streamlined marketing activities and introduced new methods of electronic stock management, ordering, procurement and communications (web-site, email, etc.). To protect the intellectual capital of the business I also initiated a registration process, which resulted in the business and its products now being officially trademarked.
