Facilitate mediation and/or conflict resolution sessions, researches, interprets, and provides advisory services regarding various areas of employment law such as Family and Medical Leave Act(FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA). Develops and or provides advise in the development of HR Policies and procedures. Conducts Training for supervisors/employees on an assortment of work related issues. Implements, administers, and monitors the Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Program for District 4 of the Department of Transportation to ensure compliance with Federal and State laws, regulations, and policies. Advises district personnel regarding employee complaints and grievances. Monitors assigned contractors/local state government offices within District (4) to ensure compliance with Federal Highway Administration contract guidelines, and conducts/monitors the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification process. Coordinates and/or conducts training programs for District Employees for various human resources related issues.
