I am a Business Management: Operations Major with a drive to be the solution to a problem. I love problem-solving and trying new things to execute a supply chain more effectively. Some of the skills I’ve developed these past four years at Brigham Young University – Idaho are in different programs like Microsoft Excel, other Office tools, Power BI, Tableau, MySQL, and Python. Throughout the different occupations I’ve had I strive to communicate well with my leaders and co-workers in relevant departments. I pay close attention to the details in a work environment so that I will know what things need to be improved, disposed of, or added to a project. I remember starting a new job at an almond farm and during our harvest I oversaw loading the trucks with different varieties of nuts. Normally we would put 2 loads worth into each truck, but after careful observations I realized that we could better balance the truck by evenly distributing the loads a certain way and fit a third load per truck, while still maintaining weight and height limits. After having this idea endorsed by my manager, this innovation, I initiated saved the company time, money, and plenty of trips to our area.
