The Australian Conservation Foundation is Australia's national environment organisation. ACF protects the nature we all love – our unique wildlife and our beautiful beaches and bush. I sit on the executive team at ACF, leading a department of 30 staff all working to change the story on nature and climate destruction in Australia.I have oversight of the media, social media, marketing, investigations, community outreach and mobilisation teams. ACF is an incredibly busy place that has a huge impact. I am proud to work alongside passionate nature lovers and climate campaigners to shift the dial on extinction every day.

The Climate Council is Australia's leading climate communications organisation. Rising from the ashes of the Climate Commission in 2013, thanks to a record-breaking crowdfunding effort, it has grown from a group of passionate individuals sitting around a table to a sophisticated climate advocacy, research and communications organisation with more than 50 staff. I head up a department of nine communications professionals at the Climate Council, all working to shift the narrative on climate every day, via engagement with high profile media, our half a million strong online community, influencers, the environment sector, scientists and academics. In this role, I have led the team through many successful projects, including COP26, ensuring climate change was front and centre in media coverage and political narrative around the 2022 flooding disaster and of course - the 'climate election' in May 2022.

Save the Children is one of Australia's leading not-for-profits for children abroad and at home. Their vision is a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation.During my time at Save the Children, I managed a team of three media professionals, with daily liaison with high profile journalists and a high volume of media requests - both proactive and reactive. I led the launches of several important campaigns and research projects, including a landmark global report 'Born into the Climate Crisis', quantifying the impact of climate change on the world's children - including running the aid sector's first ever 'children's press conference' across multiple timezones. I was privileged in this role to contribute to a successful campaign to repatriate Australian children who were imprisoned in Syrian camps. Through sustained pressure on the Australian Government via high profile media and exclusive updates from the camps, the Australian Government finally brought these children home in October 2022.
