Previously, David served the Marshall Islands and Alliance of Small Island States as a climate diplomat in the Paris Agreement negotiations. He is an international lawyer, having advised governments on international environmental treaty implementation, after working as a securities litigator with Fried Frank in New York and a commercial litigator with Cassels in Toronto.
